A series of talks for young adults (16-35 years) on various aspects of the Catholic Faith. The talks take place at 7pm on various dates in September & early October 2025.
During the months of September and October 2025, we are providing opportunities for Eucharistic Adoration all on Mondays. 9.30am to 10am Adoration; 10am Holy Mass; 10.30am to 1pm Adoration; 1pm Holy Mass; 1.30pm to 7pm Adoration; 7pm Novena.
A series of 6 sessions where participants are helped to reflect on their experience of prayer and to grow in their own prayer lives. Â This is aimed at adult Catholics. We are hosting a Race Night in the Parish Hall on Friday 31st October, starting at 7pm. Tickets are priced £5.
There will be a meeting of the parish UCM grooup in the Parish Hall on Thursday 6th November at 11a. All women welcome.
Holy Mass for deceased parishioners throughout 2025 will be offered on Saturday 8th November at 10am. All welcome - especially families who have lost loved ones in the past year.
Blessing of the Graves in Rutherglen Cemetery on Sunday 9th November 2025 at 1.30pm. All who have relatives and friends interred there are invited to join us on this occasion.
The next outing will be to a photographic exhibition in the Mitchell Theatre - "Working Over By: Donegal Emigrant Working Lives in Scotland 1940-1990," 16 seats are available in the bus. To secure a place, please sign up at the back of the church.
Baptism Preparation Course - attendance is required for Parents who wish their child to be baptised in St Columbkille's in December. In St Columbkille's Church on Wednesday 26th November 2025 at 7pm.
A series of 3 Advent Scripture Talks will be given in the Parish Hall (ground floor), starting at 7pm. ALL WELCOME Talk 1 on "King David and the Shepherds" will be given by Fr Matthew Carlin.
All men in the parish are invited to come together briefly each month on a Saturday after 10am Mass to spend some time in conversation and prayer. Usually, someone will speak on a relevant topic before the conversation opens up. All welcome.
Our St Andrew's Social Night takes place in the Parish Hall on Saturday 29th November 2025 from 6.30 to 10.30pm. Tickets available from the Parish Stall in the Church and the Hall Cafe.
