The parish depends on YOUR donations to support all the work we do in our community. Traditionally, parishioners have made cash donations to the collection basket at Church on a Sunday. While this method is still available, we try to offer other means of donating, with card machines available as you enter the church, direct debit payments from bank accounts, or online payments. All of these forms of payment include the option to GIFT AID your donation, thereby providing the parish with a payment from HMRC (if you are a UK taxpayer) at no additional cost to you.Â
However you donate, we offer you grateful thanks for your support of our work.

Regular donations
The best way to make a regular donation to the parish is to set up a direct payment from your bank account using the Standing Order authorisation form below. You can download and print this, complete it and take it/send it to your bank to arrange regular payments to the Parish account. As you will see, the form is in two parts. The second part is for those who wish to join the Gift Aid scheme. If you are not currently a member of the scheme, and you are a UK taxpayer, you can join by completing the appropriate part of the form.  This part should be sent to the Parish House. Gift Aiding your Offertory payment does not cost you anything and makes no difference to your tax. You do not have to specify an amount you will pay, the parish will reclaim the tax only on the amount you pay in Offertory payments.Â
If you decide to make your regular payments by Standing Order directly to the Parish account and/or join the Gift Aid scheme, please email us at: stcolumbkille@rcdom.org.uk so that we can properly account for all donations being received in this way.
