Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection for the Feast of the Epiphany

The light of the star guided the wise men to the true light, Jesus Christ, the light of the world, a radiating, life-sustaining light who is power and glory. He is the light that guides us to travel the the path of mortal life until we arrive at the haven of peace and bliss. Therefore the Epiphany is a festival of light, for on this day we celebrate the manifestation of Jesus Christ in the darkness of the world calling all humankind to come and bathe in his light.
