A number of laypeople support the clergy to ensure that the Church is prepared for Mass each day. Various people contribute time to the various tasks which are necessary: cleaning altar linen, setting the altar, serving Mass, arranging flowers on the sanctuary, attending to the votive candles on the side altars.
