Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection on the Gospel theme this Sunday

It is in times like these, amid the coronavirus pandemic, that we must look evermore not to ourselves, not even to the Church, but to Christ, the Lord of the Church, with unshakeable faith in his all powerful presence with us. Of course, such a faith in Christ will not remove all of our difficulties, but it will give us the strength to cope with them. Our faith in Christ will not eliminate all the darkness that sometimes envelopes us; but it will let enough light filter through to allow us to recognise Christ’s presence in that darkness.
