It is the duty of all who follow Christ to reconcile people with God and each other, to commit themselves to build bridges between the divided people of our world, between those who are rich and those who live in poverty, between those who are young and those who are old, those who work and those who are unemployed, among all nations and all religions. Walls divide us; bridges connect us. Let us heal one another in the peace of Christ’s love for all.
