Deacon Bill’s Gospel Reflection for 15th Sunday in Ordinary Time:

The mission of the whole church – not only bishops, priests and deacons but all of us – is to preach the gospel of Christ, in a credible manner, and with humility, for the same reasons for which Christ sent his disciples to preach in his time. The beginning and the end of the Christian vocation is to know Christ and, in knowing him, to strive to be like him; and in striving to be like him, to love him; and in loving him, to love those who do not know him yet; and in loving those who do not know him, to offer the fruits of his redemption.
